She also has experience with national, state, and local campaigns, including serving as Iowa deputy political director for Senator Chris Dodd’s 2012 presidential campaign, where she also served as a campaign liaison to the national Hispanic press corps.

Brenda manages a wide communications portfolio at Raben. She has thoughtfully steered clients such as the National Hispanic Leadership Agenda, the Southern Poverty Law Center, and the National Center for Learning Disabilities to more effective communications tactics and strategies. Throughout her time at Raben, Brenda has helped clients author and place opinion pieces and stories in outlets like The New York Times, The Washington Post, Wall Street Journal, USA Today, Dallas Morning News, Houston Chronicle, and other top-tier outlets across the country.
